Description

  • To be taken into account for the migration to gvSIG 2.0 ***

When we have an image to georeference that is rotated respect to the north (for example 90º), when we use the georeferencing tool the final image is oriented correctly (and it seems its size too), but it's moved several meters to the right side, it's not in the correct place.

If we rotate the image previously (with Gimp for example) and it's correctly oriented to the North, the georeferencing is made correctly.

Now, when the image is rotated 90 degrees and a method with resampling is selected, the proccess works fine but is much slower.

The georeferencing with a transformation matrix cannot be applied when the image has a so big rotation.
