Description

I have created a new view (CRS:4326).
Then I click on Add layer, select a SHP file, then select the layer properties -> Basic Tab -> CRS, then select another CRS (for instance EPSG:4258), then click on Finish.

Expected result: EPSG:4258 CRS is selected for the layer.
Actual result: The CRS of the view is still selected for the layer (in this case, 4326).
See attached image.

It happens on Windows XP and also in Linux.

Lo probaré en el build 2217, ya que se han solucionado varias cosas relacionadas. Si persiste, lo asigno a un desarrollador.

Same issue on BN2217. It's possible to change the layer SRS only in its Properties.
