Description
Because it's not clear what "(default)" encoding means in the layer properties of Add layer, it would be very useful to have an "Encoding" option in the Preferences, like it was in gvSIG 1.12 (see screenshot in attachment), in order to let the user specify the default encoding of the tables (DBF or not).
