Description
Steps in order to reproduce the bug:
- add a whatever vector layer (e.g. shape, PostGIS, etc.);
- open its layer properties;
- open the Metadata tab;
- click on the Ok button.
- metadata validation errors occurs (warning message);
- the layer name disappears in the ToC.

This happened in version 2414, but now in trunk it doesn't. So it seems solved.

I can confirm. The issue is disappeared in build 2415.
