Description

There is a new version of the raster add-ons available in the repo. I tried to install them but I couldn't because the add-ons manager don't show them.

1. Run gvSIG 2.0 2046
2. Open the add-ons manager.
3. Select "Install from URL".
4. Select raster category.
Only appears the old installed add-ons (green coloured). It should show both the old ones and the new ones.

This problem does not happen in BN 2048. Probably fixed with recent bugfixes.

¿What is the new version of the raster add-ons available in the repo, that should show the "Install from URL" in the raster category?
Need instructions to check the bugfix, in the gvSIG build 2049

I believe this problem happens because the proxy in CITMA is caching the files, so you are never sure if the package list you are downloading is actually the latest available.

You can do this test:

- Download this file:

http://sydney.edu.au/engineering/aeromech/~douga/downloads/AMME_logo/TIFF/AEROMEC1.TIF
(it will take about 1 minute)

- Go to your browser options and delete all cached data

- Download the same file again. This time it's downloaded almost instantly - somebody is caching it (perhaps the proxy?)

I think this happens too with the file:

http://downloads.gvsig.org/download/gvsig-desktop/dists/2.0.0/packages.gvspki

You can do this test with build 2049:

- Start gvSIG and go to the addons manager.
- Choose the option "from URL" and write this URL in the text box:

https://svn.prodevelop.es/public/labs/gvsig/gvsig-desktop

- Click on "Next" and in the list of available packages, you should see:

Document: Layout (buld number 15) is installed
Document: Layout (buld number 16) is available

If you see that, it means it works well.

(I have provided a new URL because there are doubts about the behavior of the proxy in the CITMA office)

I need to create a newer version of some plugin so that this bug can be tested. I'll do it soon.

Hello. You have to test it like this with gvSIG 2051:

- Download this file to your PC using a web browser (keeping the name):

https://downloads.gvsig.org/download/gvsig-desktop/dists/2.0.0/packages.gvspki

(it has to be HTTPS, not HTTP)

- From the addons manager, choose the option "install from local file" and choose the file you have downloaded.
- In the category "View" you will see that for the plugn "Center view on point", the BN 2060 is installed and the BN 2061 is available.

Currently, this is the only way to test this bug because there is a problem with the proxy in CITMA.
