Description

1. Open gvSIG, new view.
2. Load line shapefile (http://downloads.gvsig.org/download/geodata/vector/SHP2D/hidro_andalucia.zip) and polygon shapefile (http://downloads.gvsig.org/download/geodata/vector/SHP2D/municipiosAndal.zip).
3. After select one polygon, click on Clip tool.
4. Select on Input Cover the line shapefile and on Clip Cover the polygon shapefile.
5. Activate the checkbox of geometries selected.
6. Define the output cover.
7. Press OK.
8. The result is an empty layer.

I think the result is an empty layer because selected geometries is referred to the input cover. Will be possible to clip selecting a polygon which overlay the other layer? If the answer is no, maybe a text explaining the selected geometries is referred to the input cover would be appreciated

Hello, you are right. The tag was ambiguous. It is now more explicit "Selected features (input layer)"
